Build experience on and off campus.

Building your extracurriculars is important for your medical school application, as they will be included in the form of an Autobiographical Sketch or Personal Statement of Experience. Volunteer experience also gives students the opportunity to connect with the community and help others, enriching your University career. Clinical experience such as doctor shadowing, Hospice, and volunteering at the Hospital may also be important in the American application process, and can benefit a Canadian application.

The Pre-Medical Society recognizes this and works to provide easy access to volunteering opportunities in the community.
