Biomedical Sciences Department
The Biomedical Sciences department at the University of Windsor was formed in 2019, with a focus on research and teaching in the areas of molecular and cellular biology, and how they relate to human health and disease. The Biomedical Sciences department exists to academically prepare students who wish to pursue a post-graduate degree in a professional health related program, such as medicine, or who have a desire to learn more about the relationship between human health and disease.
This department houses the Biomedical Sciences program and Molecular Biology and Biotechnology program, both of which provide students with courses, research opportunities and experiential learning geared toward topics featured on the MCAT, and knowledge necessary for post-graduate health related degrees.
